Ioannis Lassithiotakis is an artist and painter born in 1956 in Crete. He studied in Italy at the Florence Academy of Fine Arts before establishing his studio in Athens, where he lives and works today.

His practice revolves around the concept of “abstract universality.” The artist employs a refined visual language composed of lines and large chromatic planes that, at first glance, appear bare and static. However, his compositions convey a deeper sense of dynamism and symbolism.
