A graduate of the Fine Arts, Darius Salimi began his career working in digital video, creating campaigns for TBWA and Publicis as well as TV spots for L'Oréal. His use of vivid colors, carefully crafted staging, and dynamic framing make his work truly delightful. He captivates numerous brands and magazines, creating festive and authentic portrait series. However, it is primarily in the music industry where he enjoys expressing himself, as it allows him to work in art direction and bring a global vision to his projects.
ARTISTIC INTENTION
Darius Salimi Iruzubieta invites the viewer to immerse themselves in a visual universe where color and identity come together to create vibrant portraits that are both intimate and powerful. In his studio, Darius begins by carefully painting each background on linen canvases, selecting shades and textures that not only serve as a backdrop but interact with his subjects to create a unique harmony.
