Anne ROLLAND
Anne Rolland is dedicated to the ongoing exploration of childhood emotions. Trained as an architect and having directed her agency for many years, Anne has always felt a strong attraction to paper and engraving. Perhaps this is a fond memory of her grandfather, who collected engravings and adorned the walls of the Provençal farmhouse where she spent her holidays. Determined to embrace this deep attraction to the humility of paper, she took courses for over ten years to master her creative medium: engraving, particularly etching, becoming an experienced artisan. Today, alongside her engraving research, she explores paper cutting, seeing it as a return to childhood and play. Her paper works reveal her love for architecture and music.
